Following the release of Thurston Moore’s anti-gun single, ‘Cease Fire’, earlier this month fans were anxious for news of a new full release from the guitar genius, and they’ll be eager to learn that their anxieties can be put to rest. ‘Rock N Roll Consciousness‘, a 5 track LP, features offerings from My Bloody Valentine bassist Debbie Googe, and Moore’s former bandmate in Sonic Youth, drummer Steve Shelley, who was also featured on Moore’s last album, 2014’s ‘The Best Day‘. Along with the announcement of the album, Moore released a new video for the first single, ‘Smoke Of Dreams‘. The video features hazy tripped out New York City scenes, while the song itself is something out of an indie/post punk wet dream.
