Last Day Deaf is more than proud to run this exclusive premiere from cold synth/ electronic Athenian project Blakaut, from our beloved Aussie label Detonic Recordings. Last year, we premiered 3 tracks from Metal Disco‘s ‘Devil Explicit‘ EP, while today is the turn of an excellent cold synth tune from newly formed act Blakaut. Analog minimalism combined with some great sampling, and an addictive rhythm to dance to… Or if you prefer, move your body to the vibe. Great one!
Blakaut is a cold electronic project from Athens, Greece, founded in January 2017. On MVP-02 they gift us two crushing blasts of deep-frozen mutant techno from the Disco at the end of the universe.
While the music is undoubtedly influenced by the pressures of the European nu-austerity, Blakaut warp their analogue minimalism with unexpected surges of irresistible dynamics.
This is Music to scream to, Music to riot to and of course: Music to fuck to.
The single will be generally available on April 17, 2018 and will be available from the Detonic Bandcamp as well as Spotify, iTunes, Deezer etc etc
Look out for the launch party in Athens scheduled for May 5th, details coming soon.
“Breathless” has samples from the Greek Tv Series “Kokkinos Kyklos – Red Circle”.
