Three tracks that need to be listened. Three tracks “buzzzing”. Hand-picked by Last Day Deaf for you…
Genre: techno, electro-industrial
What a banger that is! The oufit is named CHAIRNOGOODFORBACK, hailing from Denmark and ‘CHOKE‘ is its debut track. Imagine Front 242, painting the town red in a minimal techno, warehouse event.
Old-school electro-industrial thrown in the same blender with dark minimal techno… Experimental jazz drummer Frederik Hauch and classical influenced saxophonist Rasmus Christian Pedersen just released one of 2020’s addictions. Just cannot get enough…
Artist: Los Vampiros Amarillos
Track: ‘We Sleep All Day’
Genre: garage rock
Pittsburgh-based trio Los Vampiros Amarillos‘ ‘We Sleep All Day‘, is a genuine, 24-carat garage rock fest, and it’s loud & fuzzy enough, to burn our speakers, but who cares really? The band’s inspiration is drawn from diverse bands including The Sonics, The Posies, The Buzzcocks, Guided By Voices and more recently from acts such as Ty Segall, Courtney Barnett, and Car Seat Headrest, and their sound is a great amalgam of the aforementioned.
Artist: Red Tail Hawk
Genre: indie pop, art pop
All I wanna do is stare at the amazing cover from the latest EP, ‘Strokes‘, from Red Tail Hawk, and listen to the self-titled track, on repeat! Massachusetts based band sonic palette, equivalent to contemporary impressionist painter Leonid Afremov, who created “bright and cheerful artwork with a palette knife and oil paints“. Imagine a polychromatic butterfly, flying gently unleashing heavenly, uncommon soaring, melodies to be discovered with each subsequent listen.
Landing harmoniously on Read Tail Hawk planet!
