Three tracks that need to be listened. Three tracks “buzzzing”. Hand-picked by Last Day Deaf for you…

Artist: Hi Frisco

Track: ‘The War’

Genre: indie pop

Hope you are ready for some indie pop brilliance; Hi Frisco (aka duo Henry Eastham & Felix Rashman) took care of this, with their latest video ‘The War‘, unleashing heavenly melodies that will stick in your brain, with smart lyrics, filtered with dream pop elegance. The pair from Blackpool and Yorkshire who is named after a greeting from the novel, “Atlas Shrugged” offer that very much needed fresh air in the brit scene, avoiding the classic anthemic chorus and common songwriting. Thank God!

Artist: Picture One

Track: ‘Cycle of Belief’

Genre: new wave, post punk

Picture One is the solo project of American citizen Thomas Barnwell, and we feel more than enthusiastic about ‘Cycle of Belief‘, the latest treat by him/them. Pressing the play button, I was literally transfered to the 80s era: Addictive synths, new wave transcendence, striking melodies, and sublime sound/production.

Unwrapped my old VCR from the loft and loaded “Electric Dreams” tape on it…

Artist: The Informations

Track: ‘Strange Habits’

Genre: indie rock

Frederik Tao comes from Denmark, and The Informations are his personal music vehicle. Fair enough, and? Well, it’s been a really long time, since I’ve last heard such sublime high-pitched vocals. ‘Strange Habits‘, the lead single from The Informations’upcoming album, is that lost child and like the press release ideally reads: sounds like “a 3AM hazy jam between Scissor Sisters and Animal Collective” .

On repeat!
