Panic Loop‘s ‘Partly’ is a fusion of experimental RnB (in the likes of Saya Gray), Indie & Electronica. The song offers a super groovy bass & drum breaks; mixed with atmospheric synths, guitars and many (percussive) vocals layers on top. Panic Loop recorded a lot of different vocal phrases and collected them for this release. Lyrically, ‘Partly’ is about getting close with a person and then realizing they only pick certain parts of you that they like and wanna see in you – just not the ‘whole picture’.
