It’s been almost 8 years since The Jesus Lizard last reunited, back in 2009, to play Houston’s Day For Night festival (along with Nine Inch Nails, Solange, Thom Yorke, St. Vincent, James Blake, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and many more diverse acts), in December.
The Chicago based noise-rock/ post hardcore band has been one of the most influential acts for for the noise rock genre having recorded landmark-albums, such as ‘Goat‘, ‘Down‘, ‘Head‘ & ‘Liar‘. Steve Albini and Touch And Go (the label they released most of their albums) are integral parts of their “career”. David Yow, David Wm. Sims, Duane Denison & Mac McNeilly for our own shake will stick to JL a bit more than Day For Night, and why not, record another noise-rock masterpiece. Fingers crossed!
