Therefore the atmospheric indie pop trio shared a new video and revealed the second track ‘Relay Runner’ of the release. The haunting lead single is called ‘Black Willow’ and was released about two months ago.

- Iron Reagan – ‘Paper Shredder‘
East Coast crossover titans Iron Reagan and rising Sonoran death metallers Gatecreeper unite for a split recording of cranium crushing proportions. Across 8 new tracks of auditory and lyrical venom, both bands showcase why they’re two of the most talked about groups in extreme metal today! Mixed by Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studios. The split is due out March 2nd via Relapse Records.

- EMA – ‘Dark Shadows’
Erika M. Anderson, EMA recently shared the 2nd sample from her upcoming EP ‘Outtakes From Exile‘ (February 2nd, City Sang), ‘Dark Shadows‘. The latter is an excellent dark electro-pop tune that will undoubtedly lead you to indolent dancing. But, lets see what Erika had to say about ‘Dark Shadows‘ in a recent press review:
‘I wrote ‘Dark Shadows’ for the film 20th Century Women. There was a moment when they were looking for a band to play in a punk club and thought maybe EMA would be a good fit. That didn’t end up happening, but I was intrigued by the premise – badass women living in 1970s Santa Barbara getting into punk. That’s all I knew! But I wrote the song with that in mind. I think of it as a survivor song, someone leaving a dark past behind, emerging again into the world. Whoever it is they definitely are wearing sunglasses‘.

- Moon Duo – ‘Jukebox Babe‘
The psychedelic rock/kraut group Moon Duo shared a new official audio, a cover of the legendary Alan Vega‘s ‘Jukebox Babe’. The new track comes from the upcoming 12’ vinyl ‘Jukebox Babe/No Fun‘, also featuring a cover of the classic The Stooges‘ song ‘No Fun‘. The limited (2000 units) vinyl will be officially out via Sacred Bones Records on January 19th.

- Audiodact – ‘Homebound‘
‘Homebound‘ is the mind-blowing opening track of Audiodact‘s debut self-titled EP, out via the always reliable Iboga Records. I personally don’t approve of the fragmentation of music to genres, sub-genres and so on, but if there was a ever a term of ‘liquid trance‘ ‘Homebound‘ would be one of the lead tunes. Two words: Sublime beauty…
