Trans indie punk duo Um, Jennifer? is back in action with their sizzling second single, Cut Me Open, following a killer debut. Released through the rebellious ranks of Weird Sister Records, this track is a raucous gem that kicks you right in the gut. It’s outrageously catchy and dripping with attitude, and those guitars? They’re the highway to a lo-fi explosion that’ll have you moshing in the vein of the legendary lo-fi rock behemoths Pavement. Call it what you want, but this is pure lo-fi punk rebellion that’s set to ignite your soul. Get ready to unleash the punk within!

Speaking on the new song, the band said: “‘Cut Me Open’ is a plea to be eviscerated by love. It’s all the ways we hurt one another in our efforts to get closer, and how some of that pain can be pleasurable. Above all, it’s a love song.”
