Hari Nandu, the electric solo bassist residing in the heart of Manhattan’s Lower East Side, has gifted us with his latest jewel, Sedona. This intimate instrumental jazz treat was born from a profoundly somber event, a tribute to a dear friend’s baby daughter who tragically passed away this year. Sedona serves as a poignant solo bass composition, a vessel for processing intense grief. The song weaves haunting and elegiac melodies and chords, capturing the depths of such a heart-wrenching loss while conveying the enduring power of hope. Beyond its musical allure, Sedona will also contribute to raising awareness for the nonprofit organization “Sedona Butterfly Effect“, dedicated to supporting parents of children with cerebral palsy.
It’s a captivating and esoterically beautiful tribute.
