Cassie Marin – ‘Jungle Fetish’

About Cassie Marin

Cassie Marin is a Los Angeles-based vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Constantly exploring new musical and visual dimensions, Marin has emerged as an avant-garde luminary in the left-of-center pop space.

Growing up in Miami, Marin spent much of her childhood training as a gymnast with dreams of going to the Olympics. After her gymnastics career ended abruptly when she suffered a serious injury at the age of 13, she found solace in her love for music. She’d been playing piano from the age of four and had been writing poetry for years, so it was a natural next step for her to begin composing her own songs as she attempted to come to terms with this major life change. Teaching herself to produce music as well, Marin approached her musical aspirations with the same grit and self-discipline that had once driven her Olympic ambitions.
