Former Franz Ferdinand guitarist, Nick McCarthy, who quit the band last week for reasons that had to do with family and different songwriting paths he wished to explore, has just shared a new single from Manuela, his new project with wife and singer/songwriter Manuela Gernedel. ‘Cracks In The Concrete’ is a dance track, upbeat and not entirely deviating from the style of Franz Ferdinand, albeit more on the pop side of things.
