S-Tool, formed by Ville Laihiala and joined by Aksu Hanttu (Entwine, drums), Kimmo Huitunen (Lullacry, bass), and Sami Leppikangas (guitars), is a project inspired by what the members felt their fans want to hear. The video ‘Shovel Man‘ by S-Tool reveals that the band is taking a heavier road compared to Poisonblack and somehow approaches the sound of Pantera and Entombed.
In order to release their debut album, S-Tool started a GoFundMe campaign in order to do things their own way, away from official record companies.
