Detonic Recordings are excited to present the latest release in their “Minimum Viable Product” singles series: The shimmering, lush and utterly irresistible ‘Tranquille Epure‘ from Project Marina. The perfect soundtrack to the impending European Summer.
Project Marina are a Boy/girl synth-pop band from Nantes in the West of France.
The duo combines guitar, analog synths and drum machine to develop songs between French synth punk, techno and electro krautrock.
“As if Alan Vega kissed Etienne Daho on a french touch party, it’s a try to combine your mother’s caress and your father’s slap at the same time.”
“Tranquille Epure” is exclusive to the MVP project while the B side “L’Oiseau Bleu” is a rework of an older tune that will appear on the bands debut LP scheduled for release in July through Distag records.
“Minimum Viable Product” (MVP) is an incremental Compilation to be built over the next year by Detonic Recordings.
Each Month an on-line single will be published with an “A” and “B” side from each artist participating involved in the project..
At the end of the year the complete compilation (Vinyl and CD) will be released featuring a track from each contributer.
