Synthpop band The Gift have released a new groovy track ‘Big Fish‘ off their soon to be released album ‘Altar‘. We’ve last heard from the Portuguese band in 2011 with their ‘Explode‘ LP which was their explosive crack into the North American market. The new album is produced by music legend Brian Eno who not only plays on almost every song on ‘Altar‘, but also sings on ‘Love Without Violins‘, playing the keyboard on ‘Clinic Hope‘. Mixed by Flood (Nick Cave, U2, The Smashing Pumpkins), the band considers this to be their best record to date. The Gift recently appeared at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas on the 15th and 16th of March

Altar‘ will be released digitally April 7 and physically on May 5th via La Folie Records. You can check out the fresh song below along with a list of spring dates in Portugal.
