  1. Imperium Dekadenz – ‘Only Fragments Of Light

Imperium Dekadenz, one the best German Black metal bands, recently premiered ‘Only Fragments Of Light’ from their upcoming Season Of Mist album ‘Dis Manibvs’, due for release August 26th. The real new wave of black metal is here, and this is an opus to listen to, for years to come…

  1. Hawaiian Gremlins – ‘La Unión

After more than one year of hiatus, the Mexico City lo-fi/dreampop/post punk trio is  back with a taste from their forthcoming debut album.

The new single called ‘La Uniòn’ features for the first time a Spanish-speaking mellow ethereal female voice and develops the gloomy post punk bass/drum rhythm section, already introduced in their sophomore EP ‘Girls’ (2014), gorgeously blended with the dialoguing surf-tinged reverberated guitars.

The teenage deadbeats who don’t have anything to do on Saturday evenings’, as they describe themselves on their FB page, are growing at last.

  1. Tertium Organum – ‘Infinitum’

Infinitum’ is the first track of ‘Alud’, the debut album by Tertium Organum. This track has a highly dark and haunting atmosphere giving it a particularly sinister vibe. Using a minimalistic and field recording-heavy dark ambient style it transports us to some dark, hazy, mystical realm. Close your eyes and become fully immersed in this brilliant soundscape.

  1. Soho Rezanejad – ‘Shark’

An intriguing name that catches your distracted attention, her collaborations with illustrious countrymen as Lust For Youth and Kasper Björke,  a haunting and powerful voice worthy of the best Siouxsie Sioux,  gloomy synth-pop songs that got stuck in your head and make you dance.

Formerly of trio Gold Lip, Copenhagen-based Danish/Iranian songstress Soho Rezanejad, after her excellent 6-track debut EP from last year, has just released the new single called ‘Shark’ and it’s a pure  electro-pop dream: pulsating beats, trancey synth loops and, above all, the mesmerising, defying Soho’s voice.  Starting with the menacing lines ‘The vengeance of a woman has made man of you now’, she obsessively repeats in an aggressive tone but with an hint of fragility ‘pull the fangs of a cobra’.

Add this beauty to your playlist and you’ll never stop hitting repeat…

  1. Crystal Castles – ‘CHAR’

I’m afraid they’re gonna find you
and there’s nothing that I can do
A century of your priceless time
to commit a victimless crime
Vow to caress your rashes
Vow to punish with lashes
You can hide inside my locket
Put a leash on when they walk you
Next year say you didn’t want to
Do they chastise you when you stray
Sallow skin and they can’t look away
Start a collection of brine
because all you do is cry
Wood ticks whisper to console you
All you do is cry
All you do is cry
I’m afraid they’re gonna find you
and there’s nothing that I can do
A century of your priceless time
to commit a victimless crime
Vow to caress your rashes
Vow to punish with lashes
You can hide inside my locket
Put a leash on when they walk you
Next year say you didn’t want to
Do they chastise you when you stray
Sallow skin and they can’t look away
Start a collection of brine
because all you do is cry
Wood ticks whisper to console you

This is what the new muse of Crystal Castles, Edith Frances, sings in the totally addictive ‘CHAR’ that we first presented here. Pump up the volume!
