Kai Tak, the LA-based shoegaze/trip-hop collective led by producer Chris King, unveils Jalen Rose, a mesmerizing track born from email and text exchanges with Adrian Acosta & Jessica Huang of Draag during the 2020 lockdown. Originally released in demo form in 2021, it paved the way for opening shows for Tamaryn and Blonde Redhead. The proper studio version, set for release in late Spring 2024 via à La Carte Records. as part of the debut LP, features shoegaze atmospherics over an ace, syncopated beat.
