We recently introduced you to Black Cloud Worship from the Australian two-piece black metal outfit, Dusk Cult, featured on their album Night Sky Revelations. Another striking excerpt from this release is Western Embers, a monumental black metal assault that unfolds its grandeur in just over 5 minutes. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Drudkh, the track serves as a microcosm of the diverse styles and elements showcased throughout the album. With the inclusion of acoustic guitar, two distinct harsh vocal styles, clean vocals, blistering blast beats, solid rock beats, and a concluding doomy piano-laden outro, Western Embers exemplifies the expansive sonic landscape that defines Dusk Cult’s musical prowess.
