Hull’s DEADSET return with Party Line, a gripping post punk single laced with goth-rock textures and a raw lyrical urgency. Produced by Lee Drinkall and mastered by Pete Maher, the track confronts the harrowing rise of violence against women, framed as a modern-day murder ballad. Vocalist Sam Mellors’ visceral delivery cuts through reverb-soaked guitars, reminiscent of The Cult, as the band sharpens their sonic identity ahead of their debut EP A Place Called Home (out May 16 via Man Demolish Records).
