Photographs serves as the opening anthem for Cloud House‘s recently released Still Here EP. The Glasgow-based five-piece band makes a triumphant return with their second EP, and this indie powerhouse anthem stands out as a soul-stirring stomper. Acting as a comprehensive overview of Conor’s mum, the song was inspired by the realization that his flat was adorned with pictures of her. Driven by a desire to immortalize her memory, Photographs becomes a poignant and emotive piece, capturing the essence of personal connection and the impact of cherished memories, making it a standout track in Cloud House’s latest musical offering.

Lead singer Conor explains: “This song is about the absolute powerhouse she was. A woman who exceeded all expectations that people set upon her. She was an absolute superhuman. The lyrics depict the story of us, and how she refused to accept what doctors told her. She told me she was going to be here for me and get me through growing up. She did and then some; we had a life together.”
