George Zervos – Bio

Born and raised on the beautiful island of Kalymnos,  George Zervos, as a small boy, had music in his plans.  He studied guitar and devoted himself to music, drawing inspiration from  Rock ‘n’ Roll, Swing, Indie and Country influences.

In June 2017 his debut album “For Your Love” was released by The Lyst Records. The album includes 10 original compositions and an edited version of Elvis Presley ‘s “Crawfish”. “Never Slow Down” features guitarist Adam Levy. 

Known as the founding member and leader of the gleeful band that was loved as “Penny & The Swingin’ Cats” (2010-2015)  and now with a new formation “The Swingin’ Cats” (2016).
George Zervos counts thousands of appearances throughout his career, at the biggest festivals and live events of Greece.
His resume also includes many performances as supporting acts for artists such as: «Thievery Corporation», «Parov Stelar», «Marc Almond», «Imany», «Jive Aces», «Royal Crown Revue», «Puppini Sisters».

He has collaborated with famous greek artists such as : Dionysis Savvopoulos, Helena Paparizou, Lavrentis Machairitsas, Kostis Maraveyas, Panos Mouzourakis, Yannis Zouganelis, Sakis Boulas, Marietta Fafouti etc.
