Elyse Jewel – ‘Tbh Idk’

A catchy indie pop track sung with teen aggressiveness and lyrical-wise goes much deeper than its sound…. Elyse Jewel hits the “gold vein”!

About Elyse Jewel

Elyse Jewel is breaking the 4th wall when it comes to mental health. As a lifelong performer and a notably kind, playful personality she is out to change the world of Pop stardom by promoting healthy mental practices and leading authentic conversations through her songs. Jewel, who leads the maturing generation of Swifties, takes heart when writing about young love, heartbreak, and dusting oneself off. “My songwriting process feels like a therapy session a lot of times,” she says of sharing authentic storytelling. “I want my music to resonate with people and for those who hear it to think, ‘Hey that’s how I feel’ or ‘I’ve been in that situation.’”

Elyse Jewel isn’t all bubblegum, though. Her new tracks are packed with clever quips and gritty guitar licks as if to follow a warm hug with a jolting push to the ground. In her pre-EP single, “TBH IDK”, Jewel sings about her love interest being sweet one minute and sour the next leaving her with nothing but a song to sing to which she claps back, “I can’t be your therapist”. Despite her lyrical jabs Jewel’s social media is glittered with encouraging notes to followers and “How are you?” captions. The threads of comments are full of heartfelt responses to anyone sharing a struggle or a triumph.

4ever lost – ‘Suffocating’ (w/ Victoria Eber)

An obsessive blend alt pop and r&b immensely influenced by XXXTentacion’s acoustic period and by The Weeknd, by French “mysterious” band 4ever lost….

About 4ever lost

Angels and demons take different shapes in each and everyone’s life. We often imagine them as little creatures sitting on our shoulders, but they can also manifest themselves through different relationships we have or little voices in our heads…

“4ever lost” is the synthesis of all this. The core of the band was formed in 2020 when the founder SIX gathers several musicians. In 2021, the quartet, takes its definitive configuration, composed of “SIX” the singer (author-composer-performer), “HERO” the guitarist and bass player, “ONI” the keyboard player and “ABI” the drummer/percussionist. Mixing alternative RNB and pop, their music is cradled by poetic and deep lyrics and productions both intoxicating and percussive. All enlightened by a bright color palette, to be seen but also and mainly to represent the diversity of emotions. Through their songs, somewhere between Billie Eilish, The Weeknd and 70’s and 80’s pop music, the young artists carry the messages of those who no longer have the voice or the power to turn their feelings into words.

4ever lost is us. 4ever lost can be you. 4ever lost is the whole world. Welcome aboard this journey that aspires to show that despite our differences, we all share the same bonds deep within ourselves.
