STRVCK – ‘day one’

About STRVCK

The band STRVCK derives its name from a nearly fatal accident in which singer Chelsea Seth Woodward was struck by a bolt of lightning as he inserted his key to unlock the driver-side door of his vehicle. He was subsequently rushed to the hospital, suffering a large cut on the back of his head, a concussion, and some short term memory loss. Miraculously he emerged from the event with no long term injuries. In early 2020, Chelsea and fellow Austin, TX musician, Drew Walker joined forces, creating what is now the songwriting/ performing duo STRVCK. Their sound bounces between guitar driven indie rock and dreamy synth pop. Together with help from producer (and sometimes co-writer) Max Frost, they created their debut Album, “Day One.”

Starya – ‘Clouds’

About Starya

Bridging the world of form and interstellar life through music has been a quiet, long-running mission on Earth for most of time, and Starya knows she’s part of a much larger fabric of creators carrying out this operation. The singer-songwriter-producer-DJ-multi-instrumentalist spends most of her time in the cloud and out of the human-drama-fray, streaming on Twitch from her off-planet studio and occasionally coming down to bless us with an IRL festival or club performance to keep our joy levels steady and help harmonize the species.

Starya’s tracks and mixes have a transcendental quality, an essence that can’t quite be qualified except to say it got her opening for Justice, Skrillex, Kill The Noise, 2manyDJs, Tokimonsta, ZEDD, Arty, Diplo, Morgan Page, Mija, Boys Noize and Dillon Francis to name few. Her former artist name Tuff Ghost allowed her to stealth-move between the worlds of hip-hop, techno, electro, house and dubstep as what some might call a DJ’s DJ, but as Starya she emerges in her true form, singing over her DJ sets to haunting, enrapturing, original pop-house songs with an ethereal other-worldly, edge that’s distinctly hers.

Ari Abdul – ‘BABYDOLL (Speed)’

About Ari Abdul

Music quickly became a second language for Ari Abdul growing up in Brooklyn. Her Ecuadorian mom loved Latin music while her Costa Rican/ Palestinian father introduced her to classic rock. Rounding everything out were her brothers who were all about hip-hop and metal.

She graduated to electric guitar at 14 and started playing grunge songs inspired by Nirvana. But she was too nervous to share her work – let alone her voice- with anyone. She had friends in choir, but that wasn’t the musical direction she saw herself going. It wasn’t until LaRosa’s mom encouraged Abdul to create her own music in July 2021 that she fund the spark to share her voice with the world.

Like every inspired artist, Ari Abdul eats and breathes music. It wasn’t all too long ago Abdul was lining up early outside venues for her favorite artists, and she still considers herself a fangirl today. Her TikTok followers and fans alike have shown a passion for all things Ari Abdul and music. She’s already amassed 445.6K Followers and 10.6M Likes on TikTok.

atombalm – ‘Goody Goody’

About atombalm

Performing & producing music for stage and screens of all sizes for almost three decades. “I engulfed myself into digital sample and loop based music production in both a studio and live setting years before I even heard the term EDM.” ATOMBALM’s work has been all over the map in the best of ways. From sharing the stage and studio with Hans Zimmer to Margaret Cho to Angelo Moore (Fishbone) to Peter Tork (The Monkees) to Shock G (Digital Underground) to Flock of Seagulls to Ben Burtt (Pixar) and James Murphy (Testament) to name just a few. ATOMBALM’s recent album, Goody Goody, was a concept ATOMBALM had been exploring for quite some time that was made real during the pandemic. Any artist will tell you just how much they would have killed for the opportunity to work with their own idols. For me, GOODY GOODY, was the next best thing – the chance to mesh my own music with vocal tracks from some of the best female voices of all time. “It was important to not change the key of the vocal in any way and ended up using very little EQ on the performance itself. I wanted to capture as much of the original voice that I could.” This is Mesh-Music. It’s electro-swing-folktronic-mashup with half the fat and all the flavor.

Molombo – ‘Hero Omw’

About Molombo

Molombo is a Congolese-American artist from Colorado, bent on uplifting the spirits of his listeners through immersive storytelling and empowering the people through connecting to community. His lyrical manifesto is as diverse as the sounds in his music; laid back pop-trap with a slice of life aspect, pop-punk personal mementos of an alt-black experience, and hip-hop rock that rages against systemic exploitation. But there’s also a sentimental, spiritual side to Molombo’s “Hero Trap” and like any hero, Molombo finds time to add punch, pizazz, and hyperpop sex appeal to his down to earth character.
