Feeling enthusiastic about tonight’s exclusive premiere on Last Day Deaf of San Francisco’s VOHNEY‘s collaboration with the experimental artist from the Bay Area, California, Killuv (https://soundcloud.com/killuv), ‘Mudheart‘. A resplendent, experimental hip-hop production, with its most discrete elements being the competent rapping, Killuv’s angelic vocals, tons of unleashed emotion in every verse, and dark, highly cinematic vibes that gradually drag the listener into the darkness in a kaleidoscopic trip with final destination… “Silent Hill”‘s spooky carousel! Addiction…

Bio:

San Francisco’s VOHNEY has lived many lives: skater, writer, rapper, raver, producer, mental health counselor, outlaw graffiti bomber, opioid addict, drug dealer, caretaker for the elderly, youth mentor, harm reductionist, high school teacher — the list goes on. Throughout the years, music has always remained at the forefront of his life. Whether touring up and down the west coast playing hardcore shows in punk house basements, circuiting the San Francisco metal club scene, or spitting experimental hip hop at underground renegade raves and warehouse parties, writing and performing music has been VOHNEY’s anchor through the chaos. This year, he has finally settled into himself with a new name,  a new focus, and a new vision. 2022 is set to be a big year as VOHNEY distills his eclectic past into his art by channeling these experiences into fun, poppy, weird, and whimsical music that combines his strong hip hop roots with electronic dance music, synth pop, indie and lofi.
