ElektroSpank has grown and evolved thanks to the support of all who love music and cherish the dark alternative side of it. From artists and bands to record labels and, most importantly, you—the fans who give life and energy to this platform.

The largest Greek electronic magazine for the dark alternative scene celebrates its 6th anniversary with another huge event following the success of previous years. ElektroSpank In Concert 2024 promises an exciting evening of live shows, spanning a wide spectrum of dark music, and DJ sets featuring top names from the scene.

Purpose of the Night:
The mission remains the same—to help those in need. Specifically, this event shows love and support to children battling cancer and their families. Celebrate with us as all proceeds are donated to Karkinaki.

The Arch Club Live Stage will host this year’s celebration, immersing attendees in a blend of romantic, electronic, and dark sounds—from dynamic synths and haunting melodies to dark beats and unique vocals. Expect a diverse lineup of neo-classical arrangements, dark electro, ambient vibes, and minimal synth performances by some of Greece’s finest bands!

Featuring Live:

  • Dimitris Korgialas: A Greek electro synth-pop/rock composer and singer. Known for his collaborations with both Greek and international artists, Korgialas has a rich discography and will be performing tracks from his 2024 album Berolina.

  • Sugar For The Pill: A shoegaze/dream-pop band whose sound is inspired by Ride, Slowdive, and Beach House. Their debut album Wanderlust was a sold-out hit and received global acclaim.

  • Midnight Poetry: A promising project blending melodic post-punk, industrial pop, and dark electronic compositions.

  • iNsCissorS: Established in 1999, this cinematic dark ambient project has released five albums, with performances both in Greece and abroad.

Rangelova [altar/Berlin]

  • Set Name: Baptism By Fire
  • Bio: Rangelova is a prominent Berlin-based DJ signed with Altar Agency. Her performances are immersive experiences that reflect her unique perspective in electronic and dark alternative music.

George Fakinos

  • Bio: A pioneer of the Greek alternative music scene since the 1990s. George has held residencies at top Athenian clubs and was the driving force behind Second Skin for 11 years. Known for booking legendary artists like Brian Molko (Placebo), Peter Hook (Joy Division), and more, he has also hosted fetish events such as Torture Garden and Venus in Furs.
  • Notable Performances: Guest DJ in cities like London, Moscow, Barcelona, Vienna, and Los Angeles. Opened for Placebo in Athens in 2022 in front of 7,500 fans.

Dr.D. & Akill [B2B DJ Show]

  • Special Collaboration: Dr.D. and Akill join forces for the first time, combining their expertise in dark alternative and industrial sounds.
Dr.D. (Nikos Chanakoulas)
  • Bio: Renowned DJ in the metal, gothic, and industrial scenes. His themed parties (e.g., BloodBath, S.U.A.) and long-standing collaboration with Second Skin solidify his reputation. He also curates the underground black metal radio show The Sulfur Inside and works with VoodooD Productions, organizing shows for artists like Haujobb and Inkubus Sukkubus.

Akill (Achilleas Charitos)
  • Bio: Founder of ElektroSpank, a platform promoting dark alternative music and events. Active as a DJ since 2005, Akill has played at iconic venues in Athens and participated in Germany’s Amphi Festival. He also organizes charitable ElektroSpank In Concert events, supporting children with cancer.
