The electronic outfit Austra from Toronto, Canada shared a new single from its forthcoming, third album and shared the new video of the track ‘Utopia‘, officially announcing the release date of their new album, titled ‘New Politics‘ (20th of January 2017, Domino). At the same time, the album became available for pre-order.
The video is directed by Noel Paul & Stefan Moore aka ‘That Go‘. Austra was founded and still led by Katie Stelmanis classically trained vocalist and keyboardist/pianist. The album is dedicated to the need of a better world. A need caused by the incapability of politicians to create a livable place. A place that respects human life.
