What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.
At the beginning, I wanted to make music by listening The Cure, Joy division, Echo and the bunnymen when I was in college, I started the drums at 14 and then the keyboard at 16 and the singing at 18 … At the end of the 90’s I had edited two Dark-Wave style cassettes with my first band Morpho Cypris. When the band stopped, I started my Monocephalic Morphoex project in 2000.
Morpho means form in Greek and “Ex” out of in latin.
I’m singer too I singed in the bands Love in cage, Spleen XXX
A synthetic music written without computer. I’ve released six albums with this project.
Provide us with some info about your latest release…
My last album is called “An imaginary being”. It’s a concept album about schyzophrenia … The photograph of the album cover is a being that appears on the photograph … I never took this person … I just took a street in Odessa in Ukraine … it’s very strange it’s almost paranormal…I wanted to compose about that experience….
Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?
Image has become my main influence … I make videos … I exhibit my pictures and my videos…But architecture, painting and cinema are very important to me …I love very much the greek cinema (Yorgos Lanthimos and Theo Angelopoulos…)
In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?
My sound is different because I I don’t use a computer to compose … I try to have an experimental approach…I try to explore an unknown space but it is not easy…I sometimes have the impression of being alone.

Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?
One evening, I was playing in Paris and a moment I saw naked people dancing … It was incredible …The music of Morphoex is erotic…It is normal lol
Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?
It’s a difficult question…On my last album “An imaginary being”
I composed a piano sonata It was something I had never done. The track is called “Sonate alternative”.
