What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.
Hello everyone who read this, my name is Abdur Rahim Latada but you can call me Oyi, i’m from Jakarta Indonesia. I start writing song when I was 14th years old. At first it’s because it’s hard for me to do a cover song.
I used to be in a hardcore punk band named Nervous Breakdown and a post-punk band named Ultra Enigma, before i decide to go alone under the name of Grow Rich at the end of 2016 and release my first single ‘Cash to Kyodo’ in April 20th 2017.
Provide us with some info about your latest release…
On April 27th 2018, precisely my birthday. I release “Senen Lempuyangan EP’, it contains a three new songs with Cash to Kyodo as a bonus track. In this EP (As you can read on my bandcamp) I invite several drummers from Death Metal and Grindcore scene to fill the beat on my self-made Indie Rock song. The result satisfy my needs for creating something fresh. sweet and heavy rock music with strong penchant in psychedelic vibes.
You can hear it here.

The path I choose, indeed bring a new challenge and it’s excite me. Because I’m curious how far I can reach strictly only with this unconventional methods.

What is the theme of your lyrics and why it always about Virgo people in particular?
I don’t know, my life story always get me crashed with one of them and I’m just let it flow, swim along the river of madness while uphold my own mental sanity through making creative music.
