What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.
(Nora) Living in the same space with not much else to do. We all lived in lofts in a giant abandoned mitten factory for a time. Me and Jack, our first drummer, had a massive stage in ours and access to tons of music gear. A couple months later I kind of made Jed learn bass because she was my best friend and I wanted to hang out.
Provide us with some info about your latest release…
Well, we just put out a music video for our new single called ‘Seven.’ It’s got a real creepy and hypnotic vibe. We like to start shows with it to put everyone in an uneasy head-space.
Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?
I think we’re told most often that we sound like PJ Harvey, Slint, Hole and Ty Segall. All of those are huge influences. However, a big part of the process for us is writing from intuition, which has resulted in a pretty eclectic sound. We’re trying to be honest with our present state, and the present is always changing. What is the sound: Grunge, Post-punk, Freak-Noise with a sprinkle of hardcore.
In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?

Do you prefer studio or performing live and why?
Performing all the way. We like to do crazy gimmicks like putting blood capsules in our mouths and then exploding em and spitting at them audience. Matching outfits. Jed did the splits once. We’ll do anything for a good show.
Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?
Recently we played POP Montreal festival but Jed had just broken her foot and had to get surgery. I picked her up at the hospital and she was still crazy high on morphine. We went straight from there to the venue and when we got there she napped on the floor for 30 minutes before our set. I woke her up by gently rustling her and telling her ‘you’re all plugged in, time to play.’ To add to the insanity, Ethan, our drummer had appendicitis and couldn’t play with us so we had to ask my ex-boyfriend to do the show. He brought his new girlfriend and madeout with her at every possible moment. The show went surprisingly well, although every song that Jed started were way slower cause she was super high on opiates. And somehow, Jed managed to get two dates that night despite her cast and being drugged-out.
Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?
We have one song that Jed came up with in a dream. Its not our best but its our most unique.
Would you like to share with our readers your future plans?
We’re putting out a song and music video every month until we get famous. Otherwise, we’ll probably get married, quit the band and get knocked up.
Free question!!! (Ask yourself a question) you wish to answer and haven’t been given the opportunity…
Whats ur deepest secret that your also willing to tell the world?
Jed has two vagines and a triple-nipple. Nora never had a kiss. Ethan doesn’t exist.
