Grimm Rose

Press Notes:

Artist from Montréal , Québec , Canada .
Grimm Rose started in a cabin in the woods , during winter of 2021 . After a 18 years break from music ( mostly playing drums in punk bands as a kid ) , battling addiction and often taking the wrong path , sobriety made room for creativity to come back in full force . With a 70’s cinematic vibe and a slight punk aftertaste , the catchy but dark melodies flirt with folk and country music . With influences ranging from Tom Waits and Lana Del Rey to Violent Femmes .

‘Strange stone’

[indie folk/pop]

Press Notes:

Have you ever felt like your heart was slowly calcifying, on the verge of giving up? AURUS certainly did. But then he returned to his homeland: Reunion Island, a small volcanic paradise lost in the Indian Ocean. And from the depths of this wild and mysterious land, AURUS drew the strength to awaken his own beating heart. That’s what ‘Strange Stone’ is all about: a tribute to the strange, magical energy that pulsates through both AURUS and his homeland; a journey of self-discovery and inner healing where the strangest stones can awaken the deepest passions.

t.Roy & The Smoking Section

‘Old Hound Dog’

Press Notes:

This is t.Roy a singer/songwriter who had sex with record labels 2001-2009 as the business crumbled before going indie. Most of my music leans blues-rock (I like to call it Texappalachian) but this is about an old dog with fleas… it’s country-ish.

“t.Roy & The Smoking Section” is a brand new band…

The Imaginaries

‘Stop Draggin’ ny Heart Aroundt’

[country/blues rock/cover]

Press Notes:

The Imaginaries is an Americana band formed in the open plains of Oklahoma. Consisting of husband & wife duo Shane Henry (guitar, vocals) & Maggie McClure (piano, vocals), their debut album was released March 26, 2021. It was recorded in famed Muscle Shoals, AL with legendary “Swampers” & serves as both an introduction to The Imaginaries and the beginning of their journey as a band after both singer songwriters have enjoyed their own successes as solo artists. The songs are filled with effortless harmonies, heartfelt lyrics & real-life lessons. Maggie, with her subtly sweet vocals and piano-driven style fuses seamlessly with Shane’s blues-rock grit to form their own unique blend of Americana/Singer-Songwriter music.
