Exciting news for Tripping Daisy fans- the band have announced live shows after an almost 20 year-long hiatus. The psychedelic rock band formed in Dallas, Texas in 1990. Over the span of their legacy, Tripping Daisy released four Albums, and several singles and Ep’s, from 1992-2000. ‘I Got A Girl‘ was probably the single that was most commercially successful and remembered, setting the band apart. The particular single was even featured on an episode of the beloved cartoon “Beavis and Butt-head“.

Tripping Daisy disbanded after their last self-titled release in 2000. For this Last Day Deaf writer, the work that set the band apart was the cover of ‘Friends/Sigmund And The Seamonsters’, on the compilation album ‘Saturday Morning (Cartoons’ Greatest Hits), released in 1995, via MCA Records. Shows will begin on Saturday, May 13th in Dallas, Texas, and conclude on Sunday, June 11th in Austin, Texas. For full dates and other information, check out their official site.
