Doom-metal artists, Earth, and dark electronic guru, The Bug, have announced their first full-length collaboration, following their collaborative ‘Boa/Cold‘ 12” in 2014. Kevin Martin (The Bug)‘s last solo venture was 2014‘s ‘Angels And Demons‘, whilst Earth’s last album was ‘Primitive And Deadly‘, out 2014 also. Their new effort, ‘Concrete Desert‘, will be out March 24 via Ninja Tune.
Kevin describes the album as a companion piece to 2008’s ‘London Zoo‘ and says The Bug Vs Earth duo drew inspiration from the city of Los Angeles and the dystopian writings of J.G. Ballard. ‘Concrete Desert‘ will feature Justin Boadrick of Godflesh and Jesu to sing on a pair of the album’s tracks. Along with the announcement of ‘Concrete Desert‘ they’ve released the first single, ‘Snakes Vs Rats‘.
