  1. Flasher – ‘Pressure

Save the date: June 8th! Why? Cuz, Flasher‘s debut album will be out that day, it will be called ‘Constant Image‘ (Domino), and this killer tune will be included. ‘Pressure‘ is the perfect combination between indie and post-punk, while its lyrics is about world injustices. This is another taster after last month’s ‘Skim Milk‘ and I dare say that I am more than excited…

  1. Yob – ‘The Screen

Yob is a band which makes its own history and that is proved by the great albums released over a decade now. Mike Scheidt who is the mastermind behind them, has dealt with many ups and downs, including health issues, but thankfully managed to get in the studio and record the 8th album called ‘Our Raw Heart‘. The album will be released on June 8th via Relapse Records.

  1. Deafheaven – ‘Honeycomb’

The band that is responsible for one of the best ever shoegaze ‘black metal’ (or blackgaze) albums (‘Sunbather‘, 2013), Deafheaven, will release their successor to 2015’s ‘New Bermuda‘ (2015), on July 13th via ANTI-. The 12-minute opus ‘Honeycomb‘ from the upcoming release, is just perfect, and all those fighting the band for “hipsterism” should rethink their relationship with music, or even worse, reality!). This is art at its best form. No boundaries for Deafheaven: Shoegaze at its best; black metal at its best; great music that can still move you and surprise. Congrats guys!

  1. Touching God – ‘An Absolute At Large

An Absolute At Large‘ by Canadian (Alberta) noise-rockers Touching God is like listening to Brainiac on amphetamines! This brand new duo (made up of members of the punk band, Advertisement, and the ambient-drone act, An Ant And An Atom) last week released their debut EP, and it’s an overdose of inspired noise rock, punk and experimental. Definitely, not for everyone, but those who will like them, they will certainly love them. Turn this up til it your ears bleed…

  1. Angelus Apatrida – ‘Farewell

Angelus Apatrida “subdue” their brutal thrash tone, offering an amazing dynamic and sentimental song from their upcoming album ‘Cabaret De La Guillotine‘. The sixth album from the Spanish thrash metal quartet will be released on May 4th via Century Media.
