- Marconi Union – ‘Strata’
Manchester’s Marconi Union are back with a massive single called ‘Strata‘, from their upcoming album ‘Signals‘, out on November 5th via Just Music. Their sound is richer, and the gradual build-up reminded me up of some great 70s kraut rock bands. For the patient ones, who will go through this wild 6.30+ minute ride, the utter beauty of this song will unfold…. Great stuff, very much promising for the album!

- Tennis – ‘Borrowed Time’ (From Rick and Morty: Season 5)
What a brand new song from Tennis!!
After their fifth majestic album ‘Swimmer‘, Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley present ‘Borrowed Time‘ a new song for the recent episode of “Rick and Morty“.
So melodic, so beautiful, a perfect indie pop mellowness..
“Honestly, sometimes they’ve been good for …
Am I dreaming?
You’re already leaving me..”
Alaina sings so fragile, and I’m totally infatuated

Pulsating, indie electronic soundscapes are genuinely mixed with the artist’s expressive and distinctive vocals to unleash one of the best indie offerings of 2021…. Stunning!

- KEG – ‘Presidential Walk’
Hope you are ready for some post punk madness by Brighton-based, 7-piece KEG, and their dynamite ‘Presidential Walk‘. The single, and EP opener (debut EP ‘Assembly‘, out 22nd October via Alcopop! Records) was produced by the band themselves and mixed by Sean Oakley (Show Me The Body, Sorry, Scalping, Kae Tempest), and is an “intricately woven slice of erratic, cognisant indie-punk“. Take it or leave it!
