London-based duo Upstairs Open, consisting of Courtney Paynter and Daniel James, are returning to their acoustic origins with their first EP in five years. They’ve recently unveiled a tantalizing alt pop gem, Moth, serving as a delectable taste of what’s to come. This track, short for “Man of the Hour“, marks their second collaboration with renowned songwriter Matt Allchin (known for his work with Florence & The Machine, George Ezra, and Vök). With additional production by French producer and mix engineer Jules Gulon, Moth enchants with seductive female vocals, chilled vibes, delicate melodies, and poetic lyrics, promising a musical journey worth savoring.
