Tractor Beam, the post-folk songwriting project helmed by Toronto-raised and Vancouver-based producer Sasha Balazic, presents their latest offering. This talented ensemble includes Luke Reynolds on bass, Sam Stevens on drums, and Sarah Morris on cello, with an ever-evolving lineup of collaborators, contributors, and friends. Their recent single, Sex Appeal, delves into an honest exploration of ego and identity, reflecting the experiences of an anxious performer navigating the complex terrain of success, or the lack thereof. Sonically, the track is an absolute indie rock anthem, brimming with the diy spirit, luscious male/female vocals and indie charm.
