French post punk anticonformists The Psychotic Monks are releasing their 3rd album, Pink Colour Surgery on February 3rd 2023 via Vicious Circle / FatCat Records and the recent single Crash is here to make us bite our nails while counting the days! The monolithic, kraut rhythm is combined with dystopic soundscapes, and shamanic vocals paying their atypical ode to the “dark late-capitalist fever dream”.
The video shot in Times Square, NYC is a great companion and those who are about to press play, we strongly suggest to use headphones and prepare yourselves for a unique audiovisual experience. This is perhaps not for everybody, but it’s definitely for LDD. Fast, furious, “dadaistic”, authoritative and heretic!
