The Pretty Flowers is a Los Angeles based, indie rock quartet, which consists of Noah Green (vocals/guitar), Jake Gideon (guitar/vocals), Sam Tiger (bass/vocals) and Sean Johnson (drums), and Baby Food is the first single/video from their upcoming album A Company Sleeve, out on Double Helix Records. This banger is a total homage to the 90s, perfectly blending the alternative rock of the era with the high energy of pop punk. It’s almost as if Teenage Fanclub and Weezer got together in the same studio and created this “baby”. According to the band, “lyrically, it touches on feeling overwhelmed with everyday life and the anxiety that comes with thinking about our perceived control over it“.
