The Plastic Cherries‘ Tomorrow is a sublime preview of the forthcoming concept album, The Plastic Cherries on the Moon. Drawing inspiration from Ziggy Stardust and vintage sci-fi, the album, nearing completion, promises diverse sonic experiences. Tomorrow, a reflective ballad reminiscent of Soft Bulletin-era Flaming Lips, carries a dreamy hope, and unleashes a 70s pastiche, inspired by a vision belonging to singer Shelby. Recorded at Archive Recordings, engineered by Wes Johnson, with production assistance from Denney Fuller, the Mellotron string arrangement, mixing by Joe Maddock, and mastering by David Burdick contribute to the allure of this upcoming musical odyssey. Stay tuned for the full release details.
A transcendent, comic experience!
