The Plastic Cherries‘ second single from their upcoming LP, The Plastic Cherries on the Moon, is a campy retro-futurist tribute to 70s glam rock and the unrealized dreams of 60s sci-fi. This track was self-recorded, with engineering by bassist Stephen Cox at his family cabin. Analog layers were woven in at Archive Recordings in Salt Lake City. Denney Fuller (of the Mellons and Fonteyn) co-produced, while Chris Cohen (Deerhoof, Weyes Blood) mixed the record. David Burdick handled the mastering. Don’t miss the ultra-cool B-movie styled video that complements the experience.
