Someone pour me a glass of whiskey to accompany this fantastic piece of music! This song lasts for almost 9 minutes but I was craving for more when it ended.
Coming from Mobile, Alabama, and as they are preparing to hit the road for their next US tour, The Midnight Shepherds present their latest single, a live version of Ann. Influenced by a variety of blues and rock giants such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Allman Brothers Band. They claim to do it better when they do it live (as a matter of fact, their whole discography so far has been recorded live) and we have no reason to disagree.

The song opens with a smooth intro that paves the way for the singer. A subtle growl harmonizing with
his clean voice. Three minutes pass and it’s time for the first gentle guitar solo. I’m already rocking to
the rhythm. A couple more minutes and the song takes off. Powerful, mesmerizing, fulfilling. The
Midnight Shepherds know how to rock! Already on my “to-check-more” list and looking forward to their next work.
Turner Mason, the band’s guitarist has stated: “We’re incredibly excited to share ‘Ann’ with our fans and theworld. This song is very special to us, capturing the essence of what we feel music is all about – raw
emotion, powerful storytelling, and unforgettable melodies. We can’t wait for everyone to join us on
this amazing journey.”
