The Kerosene Hours, the multimedia project of LA-based creative Aaron Silverstein, has recently dropped its latest album, Sleepers I: Body In The House, and Roomless, but Getting Better serves as its 9-minute closing magnum opus. This track is a slow-burning blend of atmospheric post rock and neoclassical elements, a contemplation on the notion that no room ever feels perfect for sleeping, but sometimes you have to make do with what you have. The composition brings to mind the great band Labradford, particularly their stunning album Mi Media Naranja.

It’s an evocative instrumental piece perfect for late-night hours, exuding a nihilistic vibe and gradually building in intensity.
