The Infamists is a a trio ‘of whiskey drinking dragon riders‘ from Dallas, Texas, and Heavy On My Mind is second single from their upcoming album Live Evil, out on April 7th. What we love most about this song is the straight-forward rock n’ roll spirit, attitude & sound, and the divine, AOR-alike, chorus with the utterly addictive falsetto vocals. Yes, it’s this old-school, 70s-80s aethetics & influence that makes this treasure stand out from the dozens of alternative/indie rock releases we feel privileged to experience.
