American industrial/gothic metal band The God Bombs have returned with a new line-up and a smashing video/single Black and Yellow, from their upcoming full-length GΩDHEAD. The song combines the Antichrist Superstar-era Marilyn Manson’s heretic gothic metal seduction, the straightforward, industrial rock spirit of iconic 90s band Stabbing Westward and the twisted soundscapes of The Downaward Spiral’s Nine Inch Nails. Yup, this is so very much 90s, and the video by the cinematographer/director Jason Kaplan, that “explores the horror of corporate America, where talented humans are bled of their creativity and funneled into a meaningless “hive” system of work and drudgery“, is a more than ideal companion.
Last but not least, they will be opening for Orgy on March 24th at the legendary Hollywood rock venue The Whisky A Go Go, so if its happens to be anywhere near there, this one’s unmissable!
