T-rex Jacuzzi emerges from the misty forests of Xalapa, Mexico, with vibes as cloudy as the city itself. His recently released album, Saint Seiya, houses the dadaistic gem Yaah, a sonic journey akin to Yello on painkillers. Straight-up vibin’ with 80s cassette culture, Yaah is a nostalgic odyssey—a part of his latest Hypnagogic pop album. Going old-school, Jacuzzi employed authentic 80s gear—Oberheim DMX drum machine, Roland Juno 60, and a cassette recorder.

Mastered to retain tape hiss and grime, the result is a raw, authentic sound with a warm sonic texture, echoing the spirit of the bygone era.
