Originating from Iceland, Sunna Margrét is a versatile artist, navigating the realms of experimental music and visual artistry. Her musical endeavors manifest as experiential left-field pop, drawing inspiration from luminaries such as FKA Twigs, Björk, and Massive Attack. In her latest release, Chocolate, Sunna Margrét engaged in a distinctive collaborative process with her musical partner, Maxime Graf. Guiding Graf like a musical paintbrush, she provided references and specific instruments, layering the song in a unique manner. Chocolate explores the concept of a ‘luxury problem,’ contemplating the hypothetical consequences of altering a moment through time travel. Sunna Margrét presents this leftfield pop gem with pulsating beats and profound bass, harmonized by her enigmatic voice, weaving a poignant blend of melancholy and determination.

Last but not least, the single’s music video, directed by Swiss/German artist Miriam Laura Leonardi, unfolds at Les Eterpis bio farm in Gollion, near Sunna’s current residence in Switzerland.
