Spiller, comprising former members of Green Magnet School, Gang Green, and Jerry’s Kids, unveils their latest offering, The Sparkler. Recorded and engineered by Benny Grotto, with Carl Plaster’s assistance at Mad Oak Studios in Allston, MA, during September-October 2023, this track exudes pure power pop/ indie rock brilliance. Mixed and produced by Tim O’Heir in January-February 2024 and mastered by Dave Locke at JP Masters Audio, The Sparkler pays homage to the late Justine Covault (RIP) under Red On Red Records. With its infectious energy and catchy melodies, it’s a fitting tribute to Covault’s memory and showcases the band’s musical prowess.
