Ghost is the opening and focus track from the Danish (grew up in both Guatemala and Denmark) artist Soluna Samay‘s Lakehoney album. This magnetic alt pop song, initially reminded me of Sade’s eclectic pop and tender vocal expression, but quickly unveiled its other virtues; Her multi-ethnical musical inspiration is also audible in Ghost, with its gentle ethnic elements, and her love for dream pop is also obvious, with the magnetic, dream-like soundscapes.
This is a track that will unveil its beauty, after quite a few repeated listens. since it’s not “love at first sight”, but once you get it, you’ll be eternally attached!
