SKUPPIN from Chemnitz, Germany released his debut album RELIQUIEN earlier this month, following several single releases. The focus track of the album, MÜDE/WACH (transl. TIRED/AWAKE), draws inspiration from Depeche Mode and 80s synth-pop but carries its own modern twist. Throughout the album, SKUPPIN explores themes of fear, hope, and a sense of belonging, drawing from his experiences growing up in Chemnitz, located in eastern Germany.
