Rich Freed‘s Peace of Mind is a catchy pop-rock song with tons of swagger. It delves into his journey of self-reflection and the quest for inner peace. Inspired by Scottish bands like The Fratellis and Franz Ferdinand, the melody first struck Freed in 2007 when he was just 16. Seventeen years later, he finally penned the lyrics last September. With the help of Marcelo Maltez and Gary McGuinness from The Young Scones, Freed brought the track to life in their studio. He rocked the vocals and guitar, McGuinness added bass and backing vocals, and Maltez laid down the drums and handled production, wrapping up the song in a single, fun-filled day.
Last but not least, if you love Caesars’ Jerk It Out, this one is unmissable.
