Having been a teen in the ’90s, diving deep into the grunge abyss with giants like Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Stone Temple Pilots, I gotta say, I seriously miss and always love that sound. Luckily, artists like NOL K, a singer, songwriter, and producer from Brunei, are keeping the grunge spirit alive. His latest track, Superman, is a killer example. It’s the last single off his album before the physicals drop, and it’s got that raw, (space) grunge vibe. The song’s all about pseudo superheroes being praised sarcastically, with guitars and vocals that just scream 90s.

This track is pure throwback gold, and I bet Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, and Scott Weiland are grinning ear to ear up there.
